Day 3 brought me to 1159.4 for those collecting "unlimited pledges."

I drove 339.8 today making it from Grand Island, NE to the Wyoming border. As far as scenery goes, across Nebraska, it was much like yesterday with rolling hills and farm country. Max and I saw a cow limping and almost stopped to fix his paw! Ha! Someone almost hit me in Omaha and I assumed he was trying to write down the 800# to the Foundation? Ha! Other than that, just hundreds of miles on Hwy 80 which "the right lane" is like driving over cattle guards! We vibrated for so many miles it finally took its toll on my massive PKD kidneys forcing me to stop earlier than I wished, due to the pain.

Stopped @ the KOA in Kimball, NE {22 miles from Wyoming border} and the owner saw I was in pain so he helped me set up the RV by plugging in my cords and sewer, etc. Every time someone helps me like that it touches my heart and makes it possible for this PKD Road Warrior to continue on. Normally, I have breaks in between driving making it more bearable so not to worry about Max and I. We will get some rest when we need it...and the road trip will continue. Today I will cross the Rocky Mountains of Wyoming and the weather is perfect so God is smiling down on the PKD Road Warriors. Hopefully, after a good night of rest we will make good time. Gotta get ready to hit the highway...
