Day 32 of the PKD Road Warriors find us still in Malibu, CA.

Last Tuesday was a great day for PKD awareness! After my interview with Friction-Zone magazine they, along with Honda's corporate office had sent out information to other motorcycle media around the USA and they were contacting me to either add a story or link to their web sites! A couple are up and can be seen at {www.motorcycle-usa.com\news} and {www.motorcycle-madness.com\links\worthy causes} and the other 2 should be up soon.

If you haven't seen it yet -- check out the {www.pocket.com\community} link. It has a great photo of Max & I with our TM-20 e-mail device, which is the greatest! Without it I would not have e-mail in the RV. I can send and receive e-mail from any pay or regular phone in the USA! Motorhome Magazine will be adding a link to their web site @ {rv.net} and are doing a story in their Motorhome Magazine in their February issue and have offered to do a feature story later in 2001! Both of the Coachmen RV magazines are due out shortly too! Lots of PKD people are going to find hope with all this new media.

Have been in contact with Lifetime Live and, with the recent publication of the book "Fortitude: True Stories of True Grit", they are considering having me on their show. I hope to know something within next couple of weeks.

This week we will be pitching the Los Angles TV & Print media so I hope they will help. I went in person to the local "Malibu Times" paper seeking interest in a story. My hope is they will say yes and that a celebrity that either "has PKD" or "knows someone that does" will read the article and be able to help raise awareness of PKD!

So, my PKD friends, I am just "throwing it all out there" and must "sit and wait" to see if anyone will help. Los Angeles is known as a very difficult market so if you are the prayer type -- the PKD Road Warriors need you to say a prayer we get a media hit in Los Angeles….

I'm hoping that the Thanksgiving season will bring the compassion to their hearts so that we can reach the people suffering with PKD in this large community! I'm trying really hard so wish us luck! We will keep you updated...Almost forgot, saw Nicholas Cage out shopping for groceries last week -- only in Malibu...
