How did you find out about NBG and why you want to do this ride?
Because I believe in the cause and want to help

Amsterdam; Ireland; Copper Canyon, Mexico; entire Blue Ridge Parkway; Glacier National Park; Steamboat Springs to Glenwood Springs, CO; "Southern Tier" Adventure Cycling route; Ecuadorean Andes.
Tell us about your bike:
Mtn bike with medium-weight tires. A classic Specialized frame rebuilt with parts from a Kona by my son. Panniers and/or Bob Trailer
Describe your training regimen:
I bike everywhere every day.
How many miles do you ride a year?
I really don't know. A lot, I suppose.
Are you car free or interested?
Car-free since '99.
How are you making time for this event?
I am currently unemployed.
How many miles do you plan to ride in 2002?
5,000
What are your fears about doing this ride?
There's always the fear of cars, but I'm used to it by now. That's all.

None related to this event.
Are you affiliated with any bike club E-mail groups?
No, None.
What other activities are you involved in?
Swim, hike, organize bike activist events, maintain bike-related/Critical Mass websites.
