Can I also use capital letters?

Capital letters can also be added by simply holding down the shift key and the base letter you would like accented.

For example, pressing shift and a will activate the following menu:

Additionally, pressing 2nd and shift will activate 'Caps Lock' and any key typed will be a capital, including those of the accented character menus.  To cancel 'Caps Lock', simply press 2nd and shift again.

Do all accented letters have an associated menu?

Some characters like Ñ or ñ only have a single accent associated with them.  In this case a menu will not appear.  PocketMail will simply assign the appropriate accent to the character if you hold down the key longer than two seconds.

Does PocketMail support non-latin based letters?

In order to accommodate letters such as the Icelandic letter Thorn, (Þ) or Edh (ð) which do not have a corresponding latin derivative, the characters have been assigned their phonetic equivalent.  For example, the icelandic letter 'Thorn' (Þ) is pronounced 'th' and therefore the corresponding key is 't' for lower-case thorn (þ) or 'shift+t' for capital thorn (Þ).
