Windowslink - Winlink.txt File Already open or in use
This usually happens when the information is trying to be imported from the PocketMail device through to the computer. It usually means one of two things; either the windowslink file on the computer is corrupt or the information in the PocketMail device is corrupt.
To test this, I recommend that you first try creating a new file by clicking on the "File" menu and then new. Once you have done this a dialog box will open up. Type in a file name such as "test" and then click ok to continue. This will be a brand new empty file. Try to synchronise again, except this time un-tick the "automatically synchronise all files" box. Go through the sychronisation process and try and import everything from the device through to the computer. If it imports ok you then need to try and export the information through to the device. If you go through the export process and the error comes up while you are trying to export the information, it means that the information that was imported to the pc previously was corrupt. Thus, the information on the device is corrupt.
To correct this you will need to do a full reset of the device. For information on how to do this, please contact customer service. After you have reset the device create another new file called "test2" by following the above mentioned steps. After you have created a new file try creating a single, short message in the outbox on the Windowslink program and save it. Synchronise your device with the computer again (with the "automatically synchronise all data" un-checked) and this will now work.
